One Response to “Dave reads a sermon by Meister Eckhart”
Eckhart’s messages he says were in essence about detachment – possibly Paul had a detached retina (with the characteristic bright flashing light)- it appears to have been a temporary physical blindness (3 days)- external vision is what eyes are for and Eckhart preached we should be empty of self (blind eyes see nothing) and all things and reconstructed in the simple good that God is – our Divine Nature…
But this passage seems to be about form and formlessness – what does Buddhism teach about this?
